How It Began

My love for traveling comes from my mom. As a kid, I was extremely shy and would cry whenever a stranger tried to talk to me. To help me overcome my shyness, my mom took me on trips to expose me to the outside world. By meeting so many new people and seeing so many interesting sights, I slowly became less afraid of others and grew to love traveling.

How It’s Going

As I grew older, I began traveling on my own and with others. I spent a summer in Switzerland for an internship and got to visit several other countries nearby. After graduating, I took a month off to travel around Europe before joining a tech company full time in the Bay Area. While working full-time as a software engineer, I used most of my PTOs to travel to different countries. Traveling has not only given me tremendous amount of joy, but it has also helped me grow by teaching me about different cultures and challenging me to try new things.

Then in 2025, while between jobs, I finally had the time to create this travel blog! I’m still early in my blogging journey, but I hope that I can inspire at least some of you to travel more and also help you have a great experience while traveling.
