Travel Blog Diary: Week 12 — New Job

Here’s what happened in the twelfth week of my travel blog journey, where I started a new full-time job!

Last week I tried running A/B tests on Meta Business Suite and wasn’t impressed by either the both the platform or the results. This week I started a new full time job, so I was busy with onboarding and adjusting to the new routine. Going forward, I’m moving these weekly updates to Sundays since it’s much easier to write them on weekends than on workdays.

I also created a Threads account as planned, but it seems like the platform has limited analytics and doesn’t integrate with Meta Business Suite. The reach is also lower compared to IG/FB, so I’m pausing my efforts there. Here’s what I did manage to accomplish:

Final Thoughts

I am excited about hitting 1K views on the blog, but growth will probably slow down with a full time job. On the bright side, I just need the blog to earn enough money to cover the hosting cost since having a job also means having a salary 💰.

Next week I’ll be traveling in Mexico City, so my only goal is to have fun and gather content for upcoming posts.

Stay tuned for my CDMX update!
