Here’s what happened in week nineteen of my travel blog journey, where I bounced back from last update’s Instagram follower loss!
I spent last weekend in Las Vegas, so I didn’t write an update since two week ago. This week was mostly focused on writing about my Vegas trip rather than SEO work, but I did signed up for Bing Webmaster Tools to start getting insights on my newer content (especially given my ongoing indexing issues with Google). Despite not posting on Instagram for a week, I actually gained two followers and made back the loss from the last update.
❌ IG and Facebook views dropped after skipping a week of posting
✅ Gained two new Instagram followers — one step back, two steps forward 😂
Final Thoughts
Bing Webmaster Tools seems to have some insights that are not available in Google, such as backlinks and suggested keywords. I wish I had set this up earlier so I could’ve collected more data!
Tune in next week to see what kind of SEO improvements I can make with insights from Bing.
