Travel Blog Diary: Week 21 — What’s Niche?

Here’s what happened in the twenty-first week of my travel blog journey, where I tried to create niche content.

Last week I looked into my Bing search data and confirmed that niche content is the way to go. The challenge this week was figuring out what niche I can actually bring unique value to. I ended up going with a suggestion from ChatGPT to write about Chase Sapphire Reserve. It’s a competitive topic, but I had used one of the credit card perks for my most recent Las Vegas trip, so it’s timely and based on personal experience.

Final Thoughts

Despite resubmitting the sitemap last week, Google has not indexed any more of my pages. At least Bing seems pretty good about picking up new pages, so hopefully we’ll get some data on how the Chase Sapphire Reserve post performs next week.
