Travel Blog Diary: Week 31 — One Post Missed, Others Carried

Here’s what happened in the thirty-first week of my travel blog journey, where one post didn’t land but overall impressions still grew.

Last week I paused the newsletter. This week, my latest post on the Panama Canal & City Tour didn’t get any search impressions, but overall impressions still improved as several existing posts continued to perform well. Expendio de Maiz led with 42 impressions, followed by Angler SF with 41, and Long Weekend Trips from SF with 35.

The Carrizo Plains post continued to get cited in AI results for the Italian query “carrizo plain national fioritura parco”, though citations dropped to 512 this week. I expect this to decrease further as wildflower season winds down.

Final Thoughts

The Panama post likely struggled because there’s too many people writing about the Panama Canal and the post is not unique enough to standout. I’m curious to see how the La Paz Waterfall Gardens post performs next week, since it’s a less saturated topic and may have a better chance of ranking.
