Travel Blog Diary: Week 32 — Same Top Posts

Here’s what happened in the thirty-second week of my travel blog journey, where the same top posts continued to dominate on search impressions.

Last week, my latest post on Panama Canal & City Tour didn’t get any impressions, although overall search impressions still grew. This week, the new post on La Paz Waterfall Gardens did get a few impressions (2), but total impressions were lower than last week and the bigger pattern hasn’t changed. The same three posts continue to get the most search impressions: Angler SF (41), Expendio de Maiz (28), and Long Weekend Trips from SF (18).

As expected, AI citations for the Carrizo Plains post dropped to zero due to the end of wildflower season. Interestingly, the Top 5 Things to Do in Barcelona post picked up 3 citations — a first for that post. AI visibility may be shifting to other travel content as seasonal interest changes.

Final Thoughts

I’ve noticed that my weekly updates aren’t adding much new insight, so I’m switching to bi-weekly diary posts. This should help me focus on bigger trends instead of short-term noise, while spending more time on travel content. Stay tuned for the next update in two weeks!
